Hi all,

I figure I would get more input here in the battery section.
These li-ion cells are awesome IMO and I'm looking for options to put them into use.

The cells are A123 systems M1 cells. Why I like them is mainly because of safety and super-quick charge.

What light can use them?

Thanks for any idea

I use two of then in a 5 cell C size mag lite with a TeraLux MinStar 5 LED and also used two to treplace the 6V 3Ah sealed Pb in a Husy Spot light. Great having lights which stay charged for months between uses and can be fast charged.

I'll toss this out: Any of the Big Leef or 5M "C" bodies would make a decent host. Where can you buy the M1 cells? I did find a developer kit on the A123 Systems site: http://yhst-65588400267125.stores.yahoo.net/prdeki.html

Still pretty pricey at > $20 / cell.

You can get them loose or made in packs from HERE. I have no tried but heard it's a good source from an RC forum...
