How do you get the lens out of Energizer 1W AA?

Hello all, just wondering if anyone has had luck doing this without hurting the reflector? Mine is the smooth reflector Luxeon version, not the Cree, but I don't think it makes a difference. I believe someone said an 18 MM lens fits in this light, but how do you get the reflector out to get the lens in? Is it threaded in or? I have an SSC P4 in the light and did the tail switch mod and love the light now, I would just like to put a glass lens in it as the plastic scratches so easy and its otherwise a super light for the money.

Unscrew the pill and reflector. It should just fall out.

I've tried to get it out with the cree version. The reflector seemed to be pressed in and would rotate but it wouldn't come out without damage.

Not sure which version I have but it has an OP reflector. It may be the cree one, Rotates out fine.
