Will BB and MM sandwiches and optics work in the Craftsman 2AA tool light (the one with the rubber thumb switch)?

Thanks in advance!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It would take some serious modding. Switch has to be removed, cut down, modified, re-installed and then some sort of decent heat sinking arrangement needs to be made for the module.

An Opalec, however, is an easy mod ... (Dopalec)

How would you get the reflector out? does it pull out the back or do you punch it out the front and glue in a new lens?

Uh, reflector.

Here's how I did it (from the Dopalec thread ... ):

[ QUOTE ]
The reflector and lens in the head are a press fit. FIRST one must pull the reflector toward the back of the head to get it out of the lens casting, then the lens casting can be pushed out the front of the head, followed by the reflector falling out. I put the lens back in, and put it on the barrel and the light worked like a champ.
