Black mag 1C Host clone for sale:

Basically, this is a Mag 1C clone for cheap!
Extreme compact size only 5.75 Inch!, almost an inch shorter than mag 1C.

Features:

1. Same diameter Tube as mag C, will fit 1x25500 (DX C-lion, but not 26500 AW C)
2. Will fit Heatsinks made for mag C
3, The Bezel is the same size as mag C, will take 52mm Mag Glass lens,
will take the DX P7 52mm reflector as is! It crews right into the bazel, a little sanding is needed for fitting of the "neck".

The only weak-link is the switch, that's why, I included a 10A switch.
It must be modded if you need to run anything >1A.
For my Aspheric Mod, I am running it with stock switch at 800MA.
Some mod skill will be required to make this work, it's not plug & Play.
The light will work with the battery holder (included ) using AAA batteries
without modding, but it's those showerhead multi 5mm type.

I am building another one with SST-50. No problem to build P7/MCE
1C lion packages.

Good point! It's not "made", it for "cutom making" though,
I didn't think the Market place is the right place as it takes
some building skills to make something out of this.
But I could be wrong. Feel free to move it to Market Place if that's where it belongs.

Re: Cheap Mag 1C clone Host +10A switch

How do you mod the host to use a 25500 since the "+" and "-" battery terminals are both under the switch? How did you manage to move the "-" terminal to the body? Will a Mag C Spring fit in the tailcap? Did you have to remove the ano from the tailcap and base of the body?

Seems like it could be a economical project host.

To do Aspherical, R2 drive up to 1A, you can use the stock switch & run 4x enelope AAA. This mod doesn't need to mess with tail cap either.

To do 1C Li-ion, p7/mce/SST-50 & drive >1A, First you need to mod the switch:

Cut switch open & file/cut to make room to put the 10A switch in
Make a led negative contact & connect to Body &
make a single positive contact at bottom of switch.
Basically, copy what mag switch does but use Judico switch core.

Make led Negative connect to body, often use the side of switch to jam a piece of metal contact but doesn't actually use the on/off part of the switch function. Only led positive wire is broken by switch for on/off.

Then mod the tail cap, sand/grind the inside of tail cap to expose the bare alu., then stick a spring in there to stick out a bit & make contact with battery. Mag sprin is too big, need a smaller spring or use plier to
reduce diameter of spring or bore out tail cap.

I find it very economical vs. Mag 1C & does the same job as a host.
Many have done elaborate Mag switch mods, I would rate the switch mode a lot easier than Mag C switch momentary mod.
