Hi there.

Thanks for this helpfull forum, already found a lot of good advices in here. But now its time for me to ask a quesiton. Im thinking about buying the JetBeam RRT-2 raptor, but since i'm flying, i would like it to have a red filter to preserve the night vision aswell. Is there anywhere i can find a red filter for the RRT-2 ? I have googled it but with no luck.

I hope you guys can help

Cheers

Chris

Jetbeam lights are all more throw orientated. What use of it do you have in the cockpit?

And no, to date, I've never heard of any filters for any JB lights. If you really want one, try red see through paper (ones you can get from newsagents/ arts & craft places) secured with a rubber band haha

whats the MAIN USE you have in mind of the light?
As to be honest, I can't picture a pilot flying at night with a torch in one of his hand. lol

Right now, I don't have a floody light in mind which includes a red filter...
in fact the only light that i can think of which includes a red filter is the Eagletac T20C2. Might be too bright for in-cockpit use though.
