How to bore a light?

I purchased a Sure Fire 6p Led, How do I bore it out for use with an 18650 and a malkoff m60 drop in?

boring can be done many ways, from a lathe to a power drill with sand paper on it, there are also a few threads around of people who will do it for around $15 USD if you mail it to them, i have also heard that a hone works well, in actuality you only need to remove about 1mm of metal if that, so i would get the battery and a hone and go to town, peridodically checking to see if the battery fits yet (you don't want to bore too big as that weakens the flashlight and causes battery rattle)

also you may want to consider the malkoff M30 as it is designed to run in a single cell configuration. The M60 will quickly drop out of regulation and slowly dim and it will not be as bright to start with, the M30 will be brighter and will run in full regulation until your batteries protection circuitry decides its had enough

LOL! But you will not be able to bore the body yourself. you will either need to send it in or buy a new body from one of the members here.
