I've got a Diamond Dragon Aleph LE that is single mode and VERY bright. In fact it's too bright and I'm looking for a 2 mode le to swap it for +/- $.

Unfortunately all I have right now is a 2-cell 1-mode Sundrop LE, but where did you get that Diamond Dragon LE from?

I have a GDuP cree but your DD isn't going to play nice where I was using the GDuP. Shame
There are the 3-mode GDuP Aleph light engines but I dont think there are 2-mode LE.
A Downboy/Badboy/Nexgen/SOB powered LE can work with a resistored 2-stage tailcap giving Hi(max) and Low(resistored), maybe thats what you should be after.
