*** Own a piece of CPF history, the one and only "The Torch+" from Mac's customs***

I just recieved this from LED Zeppelin about 5 days ago, so condition is the exact same as his pictures (Thanks Dennis). I love the light but my smaller hands make the rear switch difficult to push one handed, also the light is just a TAD to fancy and "blingy" looking for my likes. I was not sure till i had it in my hand. I would like to sell it or trade straight across for a SMALL Chris Reeves Sebenza plain verson, that I have recently talked myself in to needing.

I guess Im not exactly sure the differance... I have just recently seen these and have read the Amazing reviews and want one. As far as i know the regular, classic and Sebenza 21 all kinda look the same. Would you be able to explain the differances?

You are right they all look close. Just small style differences. You almost need to open up pics of all 3 and have them on the screen at the same time to notice them all.
The Classic just called out to me as the right one. :tinfoil:

Now how long do you need to rest that battery pack before firing it up?

I have only had to charge the pack once since having gotten it. I let it rest around 2 hours, but I have heard most say an hour or so will bring-er-down to the magic volts for pure, unbridled, raw, (but safe) fire starting pleasure. I guess ill have to look at all three and then decide... do you have something that might fit the bill?

I have a Classic right here but it's sooooo pretty I'm not sure I can let it go.

..... Think of it this way, there are more Classic Sebenzas out there.

But there is only ONE Torch+, Ever, Period.

What shape is yours in, If i might ask?

97% and only 97 because when something goes across the BB handles you can see it at just the right angle until you smooth down the surface a bit from months of carrying it. Mine's just not been carried enough yet. Blade is perfection.

This would be a good deal but still I don't think I can go without the Sebenza, even though I am carrying the RG DGG 3/4 grind stonewashed SNG right now. But hey, I'll sleep on it and let you know. Till then a buyer might just happen along!

Re: FSOT: Mac's customs "The Torch+"

Why is this incredible light still available?!?!?!?
Good question. Maybe fate will save it for me yet.

I'd like it as a collectable, but I have other priorities at the moment and can't afford the luxury due to some recent setbacks.

This truly is a one of a kind from Mac and a part of Mod History.

There is only one Mac Torch+.

My guess Camaro is that you aren't selling it for ENOUGH.

Maybe at $500.00 people will start to realize it's collection value.

Also those pictures don't do it justice, You can't really make out the gnurling detail etc. It's a beauty.

Lol, I was thinking the same.

But, I can't justify it right now unless the layaway installments were very low=/

I remember just recently seeing a sales thread that was dropping the price a dollar a day. Maybe I'll start raising a dollar a day.

I just went through the trouble to pay all my bills, phone gas and electric child health insurance and cable, just to remind myself I can't afford this this month!
