Broke a pin on my Inretech

My 2AA white Inretech adapter was working pretty well after I got it several months ago (it has amber epoxy and no O-ring so I assume it is an earlier version) save for some wobble in the head. Now it's been dimming and shutting off intermittently, and I found out that one of the legs broke on the adapter. It broke at a point inside the circuit board. The resulting bad connection is probably causing the dimming and shutting off. I could attempt to solder it, but the solder probably wouldn't hold for long. Has anyone had this happen?
