I always leave my customisation menu active so I can make changes on the fly. I have never entered this menu by mistake. I found it difficult to get the customisation menu active in the first place that I don't want to go through that again when I want to make a change.

You will have to enter the option menu (triple click + push hold)
After the light starts blinking with a long flash, do five single spaced clicks and you get the " customization" feature (Dim to bright).
When you there, just push hold until it starts ramping Bright to Dim, meaning you are disabling the customization function.
After the beam becomes steady again with no blinking you should be all set and customization disabled.
