Brightness is regulated to the same level.

Calculate the overall power the cells can give by multiplying the voltage with the mA to give you watt hours.

It will give you a rough feel so using nominal 3.7V per cell ....

800mAh cells (16340) x 14.8v (4 cells) = 11840W hours
2200mA cells (18650) x 7.4v (2 cells) = 16280W hours

If you can find reliable 2600mAh then its even better.
I use the Solarforce protected 18650 and I'm very happy with them.

Hmm, i can get AW18650 at 2600mAH here in malaysia..

Sorry for my absent mindedness, but how do i determine the duration of the runtime with watt hours?

Im really blur with the calculation haha

I think better to get AW18650 2600mAH or AW18500 if you don't want to use the extender. AW batteries are the best available in the world.... and most expensive too.

Hi guys,

Initially i planned to use it with 3 AW RC123s... Or maybe buy an extender to fit 4 RC123s...

Are there any better suggestions?

Thanks :grin2:

I use two 18500's in mine. Works great. No extender needed like 18650's.

4xRCR123 will kill your P7 head - too much voltage
