So all of my friends/family know I am a flashlight geek among other things, but I just got a call that makes it official.
My mom called -
"We are going on vacation in November. We're staying in a tiny B&B in Hilo, HI. The lady said it is super dark and there are not street lights. Can we borrow your brightest light?"
Me -
"No, you might kill yourself. I think I have something else you can use."
Needless to say, I will not be lending them my mag85. Not going to lend them anything with li-ion's. That eliminates like half of my lights. Not going to lend them a Surefire. Not going to give up my D10 edc. It's too small, they will probably lose it. Not going to lend them my headlamps. All 4 of my mags are modded in some form...
Decided to lend them the riverrock 2c. It's bright enough, a good size, don't have to worry about batteries (ie li-ion's), and it's cheap enough to not worry if it gets trashed/lost. It's a great little light that I use out in the shop.
