cheap flashlites with metal reflectors and decent constructon.suggestions?

got a load of very bright and very hot running 2 cell nicad/nimh pr type bulbs
looking for inexpensive 2 cell flashlites that wont melt.maglites are nice but too expensive for this app.anything come to mind?
i use 5 ah nicads in all my lights and recharge with a solar panel.btw these are too much for alkalines.not as bright as nicd and all downhill.
rated 1.2 amp.
the plastic bulb retainer in my old eveready captain is melted after 50+hours of torture testing.
listed some in the dealers corner for those who want to experiment

Well, you may have already thought of this but I`ll throw it out anyway. For a long time (and still sometimes) I collected old flashlights from E-bay. AS you know, many of the old ones had metal refectors and it`s fun to try your luck with some low bids. Just a thought.
