My tail cap on my microstream tore. Streamlight is going to send me a new one. It seams that I have to remove the switch as to not tear the new one. How do I do this?

Good luck, I gather that it is extremely difficult but theoretically possible to just replace the rubber boot on the assembly. I did read that someone managed to do it once by using a pin to insert the lips. :shrug:
Removing the switch assembly prior to trying that feat, if you do that, post pics, it will be interesting to see.
