Something like a Jetbeam M1X or a Lumapower MVP,

1.) bright (350+ lum.)

2.) lots of throw (25.000+ lux.)

3.) cheap in price (under $100)

4.) don't have a lot of batteries. It would be nice if it ran off of 1 or 2 18650's.

5.) and has a smooth reflector

Thanks for your help

The Solarforce L1000 works with 2 18650 and 3 18650 cells.

The OTF lumens are 600ish on High and 300 on low as measured by MrGman in IS Sphere.

It has a P7 emitter and due to the large bezel it really throws. It is also being discontinued so I would buy ASAP.

Well, I'm not sure about the new ITP Polestar but it's under $100 and isn't it rated for over 600lm? However, the reflector looks shallow so it may be a flooder and it's 6 AA though..

You can get one of these Tiablo ACE-G or A10-G.

A10-G has less than 300 lm but with 40,000 lux at 1m. ACE-G doesn't have that throw power but produces a lot of light output.

A10-G is less than $100 after coupon and ACE-G is a little more.

There is a video on youtube shot by MrGman with all of these lights and more..

Page 2 has the most recent video with all the throw, flood, and incan lights.

The Solarforce L900 and the Incan L1200 are both robust and can handle being dropped. There is absolutely no way you can power this light other than with IMR 18650 cells or AW 2600mAh cells; I fried about 6 trustfire un-protected cells with my L1200 due to the high current.

I had the L1200 and it is almost all flood with little throw. The L1000, L900 are the same OTF lumens and throw just as far. This P7 version will be more robust. The current at the tail with 2 cells was 1.7A if I recall correctly, so choose the cells correctly.
