Used LD01 @ daughters "Sock Hop"

They had a "Sock Hop" at one of the schools in oour neighborhood last night. Not really a dance, but sort of a fundraiser/fall festival thing. Anyhow, lots of little games in the parking lot like ring toss and all that. When your kid wins, they get to go into a prize box and pick out a sticker or something. The lights in the parking lot suck and most parents were using cellphones to (barely) light up the prize box. The LD01 made several people ask; What is that, one of those little maglites? as it flooded the whole box and surrounding area with tonsl of lumens

Maglite is the best that they know, so their reactions are understandable.

Well, it is like one of those little Maglites. The 3C one is little, right?

Honestly, the LD01 is so good that it kinda ended my flashlight collecting. It covers 2AA to 3D Incan light levels, and it's on my keychain with spare cells in my bag... Anything else I have is now "special purpose" only.
