First of all I would like to say that this forum is my favorite online forum. Very informative and the members on here are so helpful and courteous.

Now, I have about 15 flashlights, but i usually only use 3 - depending on the situation.
- For EDC, I carry my trustworthy 120P around.
- For regular around the house, in the garden light, I will reach for my Fenix TA21.
- For walking the dog at night, camping and hiking and showing off - i will pull out the Solarforce masterpiece searchlight.

These 3 lights are at the moment my best go to light for the purpose at hand.

My question is, what are other members using as their 3 preferred LED lights. An EDC, a general purpose and a outdoor searchlight.

Well my Quark AA^2 Regular NW and Quark AA Regular Regular both sort of fill the EDC/general purpose roles. I carry 'em both so I have a backup or extra runtime. No 'searchlight' type light as yet, but I'm hoping to upgrade my lux III 2D mag with one of those new XP-G malkoff drop-ins, and that should fill that role fairly well. Gene's website claims it throws for 1000+ feet :twothumbs

Deree CL1H SD WH R2....awesome light.
Fenix L2D....classic.

I only have 4 lights to choose from. The other is one is the Eagletac T10LC2 warm emitter. Its a good light...but I TRUST the other ones more. Looking to try the Quarks one day. :grin2:

- Liteflux LF2XT Titanium 3rd Run (Tritium Clicky w/ R5)

- Quark Titanium 123 R5

- Ra Twisty 85-TR

Obviously the 1st two are not physically in my hands at the moment... so in all fairness my current in hand faves are as follows:

-Liteflux LF2XT Q4 (Nat)

-Quark AA (14500)

-Ra Twisty 85-TR (Classic)

EDC - Surefire LX2
General - Surefire Z2 w/M60W
Searchlight - Surefire M6

 That's hard, because I have many for all categories.

General> Surefire C3 SARGE. I further mounted 6 green trits under the lens next to the flats around the reflector. Actually the C3 platform is capable of so many forms it's incredible.

Search> Led Zep 7 R2 WH (4 aspheric 3 reflector) M6 head on Megalennium body with McClicky upgrade.

EDC> JHanko 3D Ti D10 with a Q4 5B emitter.

Tough to pick the top 3.
