Is this a P60 unit? How do you get the head off, is it glued or just painted over? I have the 'camo' painted one. Thanks

Earlier batches are not glued, just unscrew to get it off. I believe later ones like the camo version are glued. According to Bryan, you have to bang the head to dislodge the glue (wrap it up with a towel first of course).

yikes, don't like the idea of "banging" electronics. I guess I'll just leave well enough alone.
Maybe you can wrench it loose, just protect it with rubber strips or something. Or maybe someone else can advice if there's any solvent for the glue. :shrug:
