This one is a dead stock, dead mint ErinO919 Titanium (6/4) Aleph 1 Clone. It's a beautifully knurled, finned and grooved rendition, and is armed with an X-Bin light engine (XWOS/BadBoy500). It runs on a single 123, either primary or rechargeable, and is finished with a crenelated bezel & UCL in front and a McClicky tail. It's a fine little (just under 4") thrower with a beautiful beam.

More Titanium Goodness, just in time for Modamag's Exotic Coating Service.

Priced below replacement cost (if you could find the parts):

$350 $325$300$275 + PPI (PayPal, Priority Mail and Insurance)SOLD

Re: Another Titanium Goodie..CHEAP!

Can you put a A123 in the picture so we can get a size refrence for this light? Also, what is the weight?

Hi Marc...I assume you meant a CR123A cell, but just in case, there's an A123 in the pic as well.:naughty:

Wow I've never seen a LuxV in a host that small. How's the beam and runtime? Looks cool! =D

Re: Another Titanium Goodie..CHEAP!

It's a beautiful vanilla beam. Typical X-Bin hotspot with good spill.

I can't tell you about runtime, because I haven't run it for more than a few minutes, but the 500mA drive current really matches up to single CR or RCR123 use.

Re: X-Bin Titanium Goodie **REDUCTION**

In this head/reflector, the X-Bin is much better than any Cree XR-E. The head is too short for the XR reflector the Cree needs for proper focus.

In general, an XR-E out-throws the X-Bin, but the X-Bin has better beam quality. It has none of the rings so common in XR-E emitters, and has a broader and smoother hotspot and a cleaner transition to spill.

Color-wise, I'd compare the X-Bin to the XR-E R2. Slightly warm white.

Re: X-Bin Titanium Goodie **REDUCTION**

Thanks Mac. So, given that the output curve is not linear per the drive level, what would that look like at 500ma - perhaps 175 lumens?

And, do the X bins handle being overdriven ok? If for instance someone wanted to buy this and put a 1000ma driver on it

Re: X-Bin Titanium Goodie **REDUCTION**

I don't know how to calculate the output, but I have an XX1T emitter in a PR head, which also has a shallow 27mm reflector, and it's got a DB1000 converter. It's brighter than this Aleph1.

Re: X-Bin Titanium Goodie **REDUCTION**

How has this not sold yet? It's a titanium Aleph for heaven's sake, and that price is a steal too!

Come on people, donn doesn't smell that bad, and titanium doesn't absorb odors anyway.
