Surefire G2 body extending adapter?

If I get the body extending adapter for my Surefire G2 can I run it on three CR123 batteries or it the adapter only for the rechageable battery?

If I can use it with three CR123 batteries what lamp can I run with three batteries?

to run 3 cells you need a 1/2 length cell dummy as the extender is round about 1 1/2 cells long - with three cells you can run P90 and P91 LAs - be careful as it was reported that the lexan lens of the G2 head might be melting on extended runs with the higher brightness LA´s. If you want to be able to do that you´ll need a pyrex equiped bezel like the G2Z or C series bezels.

The G2 will accept the old version of the "A19" to give you a three SF123A body. The A19 is black anodised knurled Aluminium.
