The first batch of precision machined SureFire 18650 hosts are here and they are amazing! The professional machining company we are working with has over 30 years of experience and the quality shows!

All bodies have been precision machined to accept 18650 cells. The inside of the battery chamber is silky smooth with a retaining ledge to keep the battery in place when the head is removed!

What is included with each brand new "Full Host":

• Bezel
• Stock Lens
• Stock bezel retaining ring
• Body
• Z41 tail cap

Add your own Drop-in + battery and you have a working light :twothumbs

Shipping for up to three Hosts:

• $4 for USPS Priority mail with Delivery Confirmation
• $13 for Flat Rate International Priority mail

Insurance available upon request; we ship uninsured at buyer's risk only

The initial run is almost gone, a new run will be scheduled once I am done moving but it may not be available until after the first of the year so get them now!

Are you leaving the ledge intact for the outside spring of an LA?

Yes, there will be a retaining ledge that serves the dual purpose of keeping the battery in place when the head is removed and allowing ample contact for the lamp's spring as it is the stock size on the lamp side of the ledge.

IMO I like the retaining lip, that way my 18650's only fall out (and onto the floor) from the tailcap end, not from the lamp assembly end as well ...

I used a nb dropin so it doesn't get removed often

I have done the same a few times
