So who is looked at as best when it come to quality and specs. I know Surefire is suppose to be good, but theres got to be brands that are just as good if not better. I guess If Surefire is a Mercedes who is a BMW. You see where I'm going with this?

There have been numerous threads on this topic. Threads where there is just a comparison of one brand vs. another generally end poorly. Threads where 2 specific lights are compared are far more useful, but that is not what you are trying to initiate here.
Your best course of action would be to do some reading to see what members are reporting about specific lights. A good start would be to look through some of the comparison threads in the Flashlight Reviews section.
