i want to use the endor rebel tri emmitter 540 lumens in handheld flash light that i have which allredy had a luxeoun star single emitter i have allready removed the original led and put in the new star also i hooked the wires up the only thing is i dont know if the orginal driver and power suplie will work or what im going to take pictures of everything and mayby if you guys could give me insight of what i have and what i need to do

As I recall, the three emitters on the Rebel star are wired in series. Correct?

What host are you using? If it previous drove a single emitter, the driver probably can't supply the voltage for three. There are other drivers that can, though.

Did you have to open up the reflector at all? I'm curious to see how the three Rebels focus.

well it seems that all the pictures messed up the focus here lol you have to scroll way over to post replies, i didnt have to open up anything but it seems like i had tto sink the reflector down a little deeper onto the emmiters because the single led is taller a little bit and this one left like an 8th inch air gap

I've stacked your photos vertically for you, which saves all the horizontal scrolling. What you need to do when posting pics is to put a line break between them.

so does anyone know where i can get a cheep driver that might fit in this package right now i get no light from not having enough power

any ideas or links to other threads would be great thanks guys
