Rayovac $3 1xAAA LED

What does it have inside it? Maybe a 3mm LED but what kind of board? The beam is crappy: die is evident in the square hotspot, babypoo yellow primary corona with hard drop off, faint secondary corona, real faint tertiary corona. I think the reflector must be China's cheapest. Not great twisty on/off function: can blip on with enough side or direct pressure until 1/2+ turn of head.

I was hoping the board and rounded (but NOT aspheric) lens would transfer into a Soli to see what I could get out of it, but they're too big.

But still, it's a $3 1xAAA LED!

It's a Brilliant Solutions, but not a pen light, it is only about 3.25-3.5 inches long.

That's the only Brilliant Solutions light I know of that runs off a single AAA cell. The LED info I posted above is for the light to which I linked in this post.
