Flasher in a trench coat. I wouldn't want that on my porch but it is funny.

That flasher showing his urinator may be a bit too risque for CPF; don't be surprised if you are kindly asked to remove it. :green:

Re: Pumpkins Anyone?

Pumpkin art is very diverse. It's a folk-art. Is there a pumpkin art web page?

I usually just use my ceramic j-0-L; this year I'm going to get some dry ice to flow from the mouth to go along with a color changing led.

Re: Pumpkins Anyone?

Nice Thread,

Pumking carving is not that popular over here. I have done some in the last few years.
But they wont last long, just 3 to 5 days.
What is the secret to make them last longer ? Or is that a special kind Pumking that is used for that Halloween Pumkins?

regards, Alex

That's part of the fun, watching them rot. You can buy artificial jack-0-lanterns if you want it to last.

Show off your Pumpkins!

BOO!

The family picked our pumpkins out of a field last weekend. My wife carved pumpkins with the kids Sunday afternoon. I had yardwork to do and stopped to check on them when I could.

Tonight there was a full moon running through the clouds, so when I got home from work I decided to carve my pumpkin during the witching hour......... I tried to get my 6yr old son to join me (no school tomorrow) but he wouldn't get out of bed. A bit of the old man in him, it seems. He did get up later when I told him they were all lit.

Mine and my boy's.

Re: Show off your Pumpkins!

I'll post some tonight - my pumpkins are still on the table, as life caught up with me and they haven't gotten done yet..

Re: Show off your Pumpkins!

I read the thread and came up with a photo opportunity of a CPF lifetime. A week ago, I bought a ~6" diameter, very symmetric "pie" pumpkin with a nice stem/handle remnant. (Cuz she was cute!) I grabbed the SF Beast and hoped to snap a pic of it glowing! :D

The pumpkin won! I even "candled" Beastie, set it on top, and flipped-off the lights. Talk about an attenuator- might as well been a sheet of aluminum! :green:

my brother sent me this pic of his pumpkin winning a pumpkin carving contest.

I highly doubt this is hand chiseled..but if it is, I have no doubt it won prizes :wow:

I'm going to need a dremel to do anything that fancy:ohgeez:
