I have a ligher Golston 7W already 3 years. and I used Panasonic CR123A Lithum in this 3 years.

Today I have brough 2 x UltraFire LC16340 880mAh 3.7V Rechangable battery. Those writen on the battery "The voltage of full charge and empty condition is 4.2V and 2.75V, Respectively."

The first time I use it, it is normal, so I turn off the light, and few minute I feel the lighter a bit warm.
1 Hours later, the lighter is cold and I turn on and turn off the light, with serveral seconds. I turn on again, but that is no response anymore!!!!
After that, I change the battery back to CR123A but still no response.

I would like to ask is that the bulk dead already?
Is that my LC16340 voltage is too high so cause the bulk dead?

You could have fried the driver with the batteries. Do you have a link to the light? It might have a spec sheet that will tell if the drive could or could not take the voltage.

What is the bulk?

Could be a good reason to mod or buy a new light.

:welcome:

There were several versions of the Golston, i thougt that there was no driver, only a resistor, and that there was a version for 3 volt batteries and a version for 3.7 volt rechargables.
