Surefire or mulitiple lower lights.

I have a chance to buy either:

sf 9A brand new with 2 batts and 2 hour charger/cords from a user here

OR

Inova x5 AND arc aaa brand new from tad.

what would you do?

Buy them all and sell the one(s) you don't want back to the CPF gang.

Those flashlights you mention are really very different from each other in function, size, and even cost of operation. The answer to your question properly depends upon your own desires.

I thought I owned most of the SF's, but not farmiliar with the 9A. But if these are your only choices, I would be inclined to say that in every day use, you'll find the X5 & ARC AAA useful. TX

I don't know what your uses of those lights are going to be but each of those lights are totally different. Personally (to fill in all requirements), I think an Ultra Stinger (good reputation, brighter than 9AN, around 200 lumens), Arc AAA, and a Streamlight 3C 10 LED. Now you have a high quality EDC, rechargeable bright spot light with good beam and throw, and a general purpose area light with a long runtime for under $200.
