I bought TK-11(R2) for comparing the throw with my JetBeam III M (R2) but
the Fenix TK-11(R2) comes with OP reflector (less throw).
The comparison still a mystery to me.

If anyone having both TK-11(R2), SMO and JetBeam III M (R2), SMO please
tell :
- which one is better ?
- How much less in OP as compared to SMO (Fenix TK-11 R2).

Your feedback are greatly appreciated.

I Had both and I liked the Jet III M R2 a LOT more...

The throw of the JET was wayyy better than the TK11, both with smooth reflectos.

Regards !

I thought all TK11 R2 lights had smooth reflectors, at least I've never seen one listed with an O.P.

Yes, that's why I order TK-11 R2.
According to Fenix dealer, my TK-11 R2 is new path
and all of new TK-11 R2 come with OP.

Well that is news to me as well! I'm a Fenix dealer and I just saw this thread and decided to check it out. I just sold 5 TK11 R2's about 3-4 weeks ago and all had smooth reflectors. I have 4 TK11 R2's sitting next to me, that are getting ready to go out the door, and all have an OP reflector. Very interesting.

My TK11 R2 came from Flaslightshop with op-reflector too.
I ask the seller, he answered, the TK11 R2 from him are all with op-reflector.
But in his homepage in the text it is listed with SMO.
I think, when I ordered an TK11 R2 SMO, I want to get an SMO and not an OP.

What would the beam of the TK11 R2 look like if the emitter was off center? Mine has a dark hole in the middle of the beam and then vazrious rings (I know this is the CREE phenomenon); I initially used it outdoors so I didn't reall notice the less than stellar "darker" hotspot in the middle until a couple of days ago when i used the light indoors.
