Per title... what is the size of the O-ring that goes onto the tailcap screw thread area on the body and the size that goes onto the bezel screw thread area on the body... in mm please?

Call up Surefire, they'll send you some new ones if yours are worn out.
I purchased a bunch of O-Rings from Lighthound. They have all the Surefire O-Ring size you need.

I saw those from lighthound and I know SF might send me a few if I asked.... but I'm a cheapo.... 
and I don't live in the states so am actually considering getting them from DX... and DX has a myriad of sizes to choose from... :shakehead

I double O-ring all my SF lights. I use the glow in the dark ones so when I'm changing cells or LAs the ends are easier to spot in the dark (after they are illuminated by my backup light of course).
Tailcap 5/8" or 16mm
Bezel 7/8" or 22mm
I'm using 25.4mm per inch as the conversion factor.

I'm not sure but I have a feeling metric o-rings don't fit. Correct?

Here is a list of different size o-rings for a number of lights that I have assembled. Let me know if you have any more data I can add.
By the way, Surefire uses Imperial standard o-rings. You may not find a metric equivalent.
