Is this Kiadomain drop-in the real deal? anyone got the specs on this?

I've got one of the UltraFire SST50 drop-ins that I'm running in a Leaf/SF set up.

It puts out an amazing amount of light and is a lovely warm(ish) tint.

It does get very hot but I only use it in short bursts at work.

$51 for a drop-in is kinda expensive. I rather pay extra money to get a real light like the M21 from Olight. I love the way it brighten entire football field at night but the problem is not all the SST50 has a pure white color. Some SST50 emitters have a yellowish white instead of a cool white color.

Now I don't do it simply I used to buy drop-in from DX and KD without knowing how the white the emitter can produce. Therefore the best way is the buy it from a store and test it out in person not from a oversea online shopping.

$65-$75, depending on binning and driver. WJ bin is worth the extra dough.

If it's the same quality as the MCE drop in bought there it won't last long, the driver burnt out in the first 5 minutes.
Save yourself some money and buy one of Nailbenders excellent drop ins.

I pm'd him, and he said he uses the WJ bin. I paid $65 for mine.

Will this work in a solarforce L2M with cr123?.
If so what sort of lumens would you be looking at?.
I realise it wont last long on the batteries.

What color is WJ? I hate green, yellow and I hate warm (looks brown to me). I like pure white or bluish white.

I think you'll be happy with WJ it's on the cool side of white, slight blue tinge but barely noticeable. My D36 Naillbender 3 level SST-50 has become my favorite light, nice low to flat out.

I run mine off one AW 26500 cell or a AW 2600mAH P18650 cell.

Just looked at mine again not really blue but a very nice white but definitely on the cool side. running off a 26650 @ 2.5A.
