I can order only from DX/Kaidoman since I need international shipping.
BTW, the mte is also Q5, like the one you sent me.

THanks!

I think the best lights you can get for that price are made by romisen, either the rc-n3 or the rc-g2.

They are very different

If you want a zoom to flood light from dx. this one looks better to me:

SX SKU 29095

The akoray provides a lot of versatility.

The romisen is imo though the best balance of price, quality and performance, but it is single mode and has an older emitter than the akoray.

Do not link directly to sales sites - Norm

I have the Q5 version and it is bright.....i also like the fact that you can use 2AA's, and if you take the tube off you can either use a cr123 or rcr.

shiningbeam is awesome, but the international shipping might be more than he wants to pay as he stated before.....

One thing you can't believe is the lumen rating of those lower price lights. Also, KD and DX aren't the only shops that ship overseas.

If you want a better light, I'd suggest saving up some money and buying a better light.

If you want a light now, I think you'll like the 1 AA flood to throw light from DX.

Which do you think is better:
1)X2000 Flood-to-Throw Zooming Glass Lens Cree P4 LED Flashlight (3*AAA)
2)
Akoray K-106 3-mode Q5 AA/14500
3) Romisen RC-N3

Do you really want a 3*AAA P4 light? The Romisen RC-29 för $15.5 at KD is probably the best zoom-light (1AA with Q5 and forward-clicky, even if you don't order from shiningbeam).

The Akoray K-106 is supposed to be quite dim unless you use 14500's.
