Anybody know where I can buy an aespherical <spel?> lens for a Mini-Maglite? Specifically a AAA MiniMag? Also, to start my search can anyone tell me what the size is, in Millimeters, that I need to look for?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "aspheric" specifically mean "not a sphere"?

Sounds correct. I'm not sure which lens would fit a mini Mag so the acrylic ball was just an option with similar performance.

Here is a aspheric lens for the minimag from the shoppe

They call it half a ball, but its a aspheric lens no less. It fits in a minimag lens holder and works pretty well with my cree terralux drop in when I had it.
I would love to see what it does with a gen2 rebel minimag led light, since that light throws better than the terralux drop in
