Hmmm... amazing how just clicking on that link hit me with about 5 popups... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon6.gif

BTW... I've had that toolbar for several months. It doesn't stop pop-ups... it makes them worse. Get Ad-Aware and do a scan on your computer and see how many "minors" that toolbar plants on your hard drive... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon8.gif

This one is ver. 2.0 and came out only today or last night. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I pulled on my Google toolbar shorts and went surfing on www.nytimes.com and it promptly killed 3 popups on the first 3 pages. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif

I use Mozilla as my browser, and with its built in features I can search google from the address window anytime I want, and I can turn off popups in my preferences. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I'm all for Mozilla, Opera, Safari and other browsers that help to keep M$ honest. But I found Mozilla too slow on my (antiquated) P2 300 MHz machine. (yeah, I know... upgrade) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif $$$

Safari. Google search with snapback in toolbar. Bult in pop-up blocking. Tabbed browsing. Tons faster than Mozilla. Did I mention it's fast?

Interesting, I run Mozilla on a P2 300MHz machine and find the speed perfectly adequate. I 512 mb ram, so maybe that helps?

I LOVE tabbed brousing! Don't know how I got along without it!
