It's the brightest LED flashlight ever built on a compact mag 2C platform.

Specs:

  • 7 XPG R5 in series, driven to 1Amp each
  • Large Custom Pure Copper Heat sink in the head
  • Blue Shark dialed to Maximum 1A setting
  • Blue Shark cooled by its own copper heat sink to body
  • 6 Degree Optics x7
  • Aluminum Reflector cut-down to fit on top of the optics to help focus more light to the front
  • UCL Anti-reflective Lens for >98% transmittancy
  • Mag 2C Indigo Host, recessed tail spring
  • Battery sleeve for use with 3x18350 Li-ion or AW 3x16340 IMR
This light is compact in size but a monster in out-put, a Moby **** Junior if you will, except it'll pump out more brutal lumens than a full size Moby ****. It also Blows away my SSR-90 flashlight running on 26650 IMR.

XPG R5 driven at 1A is ~350 Lumens, 7x350 is ~2500 lumens!
It's heatsinked very well with the large copper, It'll run hot really
hot in 4-5 minutes, so it's for short duration use only. One should
hold the flashlight when using it & turn it off whet it gets really hot.

However, due to the higher lumen efficiency, it'll Run less hot than 7xP7
set-up, Throw better than 3xP7 & have higher total lumen out-put than 3xP7 set-up.

Running on 2xLi-ion not recommended, Blue Shark can boost from 2x18650 or 2x25500 li-ion, but using 2 Li-ion will draw ~4A from battery can make Blue Shark running hot, I am not sure if it'll burn out the blue Shark at 4A, as it's copper
heat sinked to the tube, but it'll reduce efficiency from 90% (3 li-ion) to 75% (2 Li-ion).

Do Not Unscrew the head from the body, you may break the wires as the Blue shark is mounted in the body & LED is mounted in the head.

Best set-up is 3x AW IMR 16340 or 3x 18350 Li-ion (included).
The 3x18350 wil give significant longer run time than 3xIMR 16340.

Selling for a modest $235, including 3 x18350 Li-ion Batteries & Battery sleeve. Plug & Play. You can charge 18350 using 16340 li-ion charger.

The 18350 battery is NOT protected, if you don't want the battery & rather run it with IMR 16340,
you can deduct $10 from selling price. Do Not Run it with 3x16340 regular Li-ion!

Add $15 to cover PP fee, Shipping & Insurance. CANUS Only.

Re: FS: 7 XPG R5 -Indigo Mag 2C - 2500 Lumen Monster

Just want to restate the caution here for using 3x18350 non protected Li-ion. (There's no protected 18350 li-ion available yet)

Use Non protected Li-ion with caution:

Make sure to check voltage each time before re-charging, discard if any battery drarined down <3 Volt.

Greatest risk comes from re-charge of run-down damaged Li-ion
or Run 3 li-ions when they have different charge state.

ALWAYS measure Li-ion before charge & after Charge,
to make sure they are in good shape &
put into the light with same brand Li-ions with same Volts.
