Also, very reliable. Handle's 2xCR123's without a problem. You don't want to exceed the 6.0v limit, by using 2 Li-Ions, or other battery configurations that reach over 6 volts.

Edit: When I have a new driver board made for my P7 light, I'll see how the Shining Beam driver fares with 2x 18650's. Maybe it'll work after-all, but at the users own risk.

Doesn't this board look kinda similar to the 7135-chip drivers? (also the 6v limit of 7135s)
It will be interesting to see 2x18650s on it, though I'm afraid the outcome would be slightly costly

It uses the 7135's (but it doesn't seem to dim with them, at least when using 4xAlkalines), but it'd be worth the $7 investment, to see how long/well it'll handle it, in case someone needs to use them in an emergency. I could probably just ask Bryan if he's tested them with 2x18650's, though, to keep me from blowing mine up.

The P7/MC-E Driver from shiningbeam is awesome! It's an 8x7135 Driver, i use it for a p7 and a mc-e and they're both pretty powerful. The mc-e one blasts away my p7 dropin from nailbender on 1x26500...(not on 2xcr123 of course...)
So, if you don't have one yet and don't want to mess around with 19 modes and strobe and whatever, get one!
