I 'm looking for a little advice, I am trying to build a light that is around 1600 lumens, it will be inside a gas tight case and will be powered through a transformer of up to 24v. I already have the case and I have experimented with the insides of a romisan 1600lm flashlight that contains 6 x Q5 led's and uses 4 x cr123a batteries.
I used this torch as a basis, as the insides are all but perfect for my requirements eg. size of reflector and output of light, however after reading some of the comments on your forum I may not be going down the correct path regarding the possible stated output from the romisen light. The light has to be a single mode light with all 6 led's on at the same time producing 1600lm of light , can you give me any help with finding other parts/suppliers, I am not well versed in the lighting world and know little of led workings so all help would be greatfully accepted :thumbsup:
