My LD10 likes to really shine with a L2D body.
The difference is so minor I would not even bother with LD20. (Knurling)
The major changes were on the head and tailcap anyway.

That is unless you got the LD10+ and in that case sorry man but you are screwed.

Why, LD10+ and PD20+ does match parts, what kind of problem du you expect with a PD20+ body tube?

When they brought out the LD10+ and LD20+ they changed the threads.
So you would need to buy a LD20+ tube to work on a LD10+.
Previously any LD20/L2T/L2D tube would work.
I have a LD10 and use a L2D 2AA tube, very happy.

i bought an L1T body for my 1st gen LD20 under a similar advice from a different thread and it doesn't fit. should've just gone with an LD10 body

The older L1T's would not fit, the newer ones that feature CREE LED's are good.

^ bought the only L1T body available from lighthound. oh well.
