A customer in France wants to ship a small box to US or Canada but finds it costs $31 using http://www.colissimo.fr/affranchissementenligne/displayConfirmationCotation.do

Does anyone know a good, cheap way of shipping our little white box (~4 oz) package from:

France to US?
France to Canada?

Petit paquet is bubble envelope. Any help would be appreciated.

Yikes, that sure isn't cheap!

Hopefully somebody will know a good alternative. You might want to consider asking over at the Marketplace.

Anyone? Anyone? :poke:

That parcel is going to have done much more traveling than I've done in a long time. ;)

He can send it as a letter (courrier) for much cheaper depending on the volume and weight of the item, colissimo is very expensive.

I speak some French. According to laposte.fr, for a package of upto 200 g (more or less 8 ounces) it will cost you 2.8 EUR for worldwide economic shipping and 5 EUR for worldwide priority shipping.

Hi
I'm a Newbie on this site so I've only just found this thread.
Hope you finally got everything sorted?
Anyway, I'd just like to say that Petit Paquet is not just Bubble Wrap. I often ship all sorts of things (in a variety of shapes and sizes) all over the world. It's the weight of the packet that's the important bit not the shape/style of wrapping. Most of my parcels average 11€50 for 1kilo

click on "letter". click "to a foreign country". type in destination and click "OK". click "priority merchadise". type in weight - in grams - and click on "calculate charge.

Good Luck with shipping abroad. I find it really easy.
(mind you, I do have a question about shipping to Russia which I'll post in another thread later)
