Im looking for a drop in for my L2M can anyone recomend one preferebly with some modes.
Would an MCE drop in be noticeiably brighter to the eye than say a Q5 or R2?.
Not throw but overall.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Get nailbender to make an MCE module. The shiningbeam 3 mode DC-DC board would be my suggestion. Power it with an IMR16340. You'll only get ~10 minutes of run time on Hi though.

Another better alternative (IMHO) would be a ~1A XPG-R4/R5, and power it with a 17500 or 18500. It should be a nice floody-smooth beam, cool operating temps and extended run times. According to kospap the L2M can accommodate the larger cells. Looking at mine closely and there is a LOT of available spring stackup in this design that could be put to better use.
