Lobster Claw opinions?

I just received a lobster claw keychain on my ITP A1 EOS. I wonder what opinions are on this style of keychain. Is it reliable, will I lose keys with some likelyhood, is it strong? I have the other style on my ITP A3 EOS and like it, but have had it fall off my keychain before. I bent it, and it has not failed yet. A reliable light is only so good as the chain you depend upon. Any thoughts would be great.

The same lobster claw also comes with the A2 EOS.

I prefer it to the keychain attachment that comes with the A3 EOS.
The spring on mine is very strong, so as long as the spring holds up, it should be good.

I had to bend the prongs of the A3 EOS keychain attachment outward to ensure it wouldn't come undone.
I'm looking to replace the keychain attachments on all of our A3 EOS with lobster claws of some sort.
