Hands free?

I haven't seen much in the way of hands-free, except a headlamp, or headband that holds a small flashlight (e.g. NiteIze). I looked at the Tomahawk, it looks pretty good. I might have to have my chief sign a letter for a trial and eval.

I do know of this link for tactical lanyards. The article doesn't describen nor do the pictures show, what or how it works.

If my thinking is correct, flashlight goes in your palm, and lanyard wraps around the backside of your hand and over the flashlight head. Cordlocks on the lanyard for adjustments.

I've also seen smaller, less bright lights for cap of baseball hat, and shirt pocket. Usually just for close-up work like writing on a clipboard.
