Trying to guess what the output levels would be for and new 3/45 lumen output E1L if the emitter was upgraded to a XPG-R5. Anyone want to guess? I realize Surefire pretty much has higher output than they are rated so just use the stock ratings as a reference point. Thinking of having it modded....

You could probably calculate a rough estimate if you knew the drive level for the LED. If yours is a model with an old Luxeon, or something, you could get a huge boost in output...

If you put an XP-G R5 and drive it at 1A~1.2A I guess you should have about 200~250 OTF.

If you keep the stock driver I dont see much change in lumens just a wider beam with more spill.

good luck,
