Thanks again for all the help!
New question:

I have a Surefire e2e HA. It appears I can get a replacement head (KL4 (>$100), or a TLS Cree Q5 Single Stage LED Conversion Head for E2 ($80)), or a Lumens factory bulb (but I am scared about modding an F&#*ing it up).

SO...Should I do one of the above...or just buy a new LED flashlight (Quark/Fenix/etc.)

I like the idea of a new bulb...but is it hard to do, and what would I need?

Thanks again...you all are awesome flashlight gurus!
Happy New Year,
Josh

Really, it depends on how you intend to use it.

Either LED option is a good one - the TLS has gotten good reviews, generally speaking and the Surefire option more or less speaks for itself.

I personally wouldn't use an incan - I prefer LEDs for the usual reasons: run time, output and durability.

Option 4 involves a little more cash, but more flexibility: an E2C adapter, a SF P/C bezel and the P60 module of your choice. :D
