KL-4 min volts and max volts??

Not really, but I've heard that running it with 9-volts (3-cells) is not recommended at all.

One that I tested seemed to be in full and constant current from about 3 to almost 7 volts as I recall. The actual range is likely somewhat dependant on the Vf of the particular LED; at least at the upper limit whereas I suspect the lower limit is based probably on included circuitry designed for a low battery shut off. YMMV.
