How did you settle with the ballast above the air pocket?
I see the 2nd pic of it underwater, are you net or spear fishing with this?

This is a copy of a light built by q-beam called the starfire II. They dont make it anymore so I had to build my own. It cost about the same as the orginal but is a little more durable. It uses the boats 12V lead acid battery. Bait fish gather around the light by the thousand, predator fish then take advantage of the feeding opportunity. I dont have switches yet, Im still working on something waterproof.
