SureFire L1 optic fogging

Just took my SureFire L1 from the shelf today. It hasn't been used for a few months. I noticed that some kind of fogging appeared inside the optic. It looks like a white aurora boeralis and it looks like it's floating inside the optic. Has anyone seen this with their SF Cree optics? I'll post pictures later.
