I have one and have been trying to crack it open for a while now. I kinda distorted the reflector with a torch lighter and still havent gotten in. Any hints?

I tried heat (blowdryer) and two strap wrenches on mine, but the head didn't budge. I gave up and I now I keep it in my glove box.

I can't see this one being worse than Surefire red loctite.

Slow and even heat from a good adjustable heat gun works for me on every light I have tried along with a leather belt cut into strips to protect the flashlights finish and two locking pliers.(Vice grips)

Using a micro torch, and rubber gloves to twist. I tried using a vice on one and it already damaged it

Well, cracked it open and destroyed the reflector, plastic lens and the PCB which the LED sat on
wired in a SSC on a Star and is using it as an area light, as I can't find a lens or reflector or figure out a way to have the pieces stay on the head
