What is the best fit/finish on/off clicky switch for a Surefire 6P or C3 flashlight. I don't want to pay the money for the Surefire OEM one.

I would like something reliable and tested hopefully by someone on this forum.

I bought one from dealextreme, and can't complain for what it cost, but I'm not sure how long it will last.

The current revision Surefire OEM Z58/Z59 or Z48/Z49 is the way to go in my opinion, but the McClicky is a good switch too.

Back a few years ago when Surefire had clicky switch problems, McClicky was the switch to own, but those days are gone I think. The Surefire clicky switches have been good since early 2007 production.

I wouldnt have a problem with using either one on my go to tactical light, but I prefer the Surefire. It is not as stiff as the McClicky's I've used and just as reliable.

From what I read it is not too difficult to buy a McClicky assembly (such as from the Sandwich Shoppe) and install it yourself into an OEM Surefire twisty switch.
