Flickering Led Light

I just got it delivered today. It is a medium cost name brand. I do not wish to disclose the name brand at this time in the hope that you guys can suggest a fix. Thanks!

Disassemble, clean all contact points (e.g. where the switch connects to the tailcap), check all connections, make sure everything is screwed together tight?

Other than that, I think I'm going to need more information on the light before anything else can be suggested.

If none of the above works out, try to put a piece of wire from - pole on battery to the flashlight body. If it stops flickering, its your tailcap/clickie making problems. If it's a twisty light, send it back.
