Anyone got one of these?
I have a white LED version, but want to get a green one too due to the potentially brighter light.

How useable is green light for general indoor use?
Anyone got any beamshot comparisons?

I have a green KL1. Here's the green and a white as a beam shot...

The square in the middle is 1"x1". Both shots taken at f3.9 1/125 sec. I'm not sure how good my battery is and these were taken in my office with fluorescent lighting

Beretta1526, great pics.

Do you find the green led 'usable'for indoor use?
Or does it distort colors - to the eye that is?

Sorry I hadn't gotten back sooner...

I find the green gives very little color rendition, but is good for indoor and outdoor use. It's quite bright although in close quarters will slightly affect your night vision.

I have a green L1 and LOVE IT! It is (IMHO)vastly more useful than the white L1 that I previously had. The low beam is very useful both indoors and out, and the high beam will light up targets outdoors 30-35 yards away, while my white L1 was only good for 15-20 yards.

My green L1 replaced my E2 as my 'big' EDC light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif
